The brief was to launch Amazon Prime’s latest show in Europe. A show based on the Neil Gaiman’s book by the same name, but there wasn’t time to read the book before the pitch.
Playing on key themes and characters we proposed to bring the various traits of each god to life in AR, allowing Snapchatters to take on the identity of those gods themselves. Buying into the premise, we now had the time to get under the skin of the story and characters.
The campaign ran with 5 different AR Lens builds and was promoted across Snapchat on the carousel and one of the first uses of video products opening to AR, so each lens could be accessed via the teaser trailer ads.
Each week news video ads were running to tease the themes and the gods that appear in that weeks episode. 👀 more below 👇
